SSAE 16 SOC 1 CERTIFICATION

EdgeMAC received its SSAE 16 SOC 1 Type 1 certification in December 31, 2016 from the accounting firm of Moss Adams. Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) No. 16 was finalized by the Auditing Standards Board of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) in January 2010. It replaced SAS 70 as the authoritative guidance for reporting on service organizations and is a meticulous, in-depth examination of an organization’s policies, processes and internal controls for the storage, handling and dissemination of secure data.

RMBS THIRD PARTY SECURIZATION – APPROVALS AND COMPLIANCE

EdgeMAC has been reviewed and/or vetted by the Rating Agencies for third party review services on RMBS transactions. Kroll and Moody’s do not have an official approval process or publish lists of firms they have vetted. However, EdgeMAC is in compliance with their respective criteria and ratings methodology.

EdgeMAC follows Rating, Agency, SFIG guidance and industry best practices. We review ratings methodology and criteria on an ongoing basis to ensure our systems and processes are in line with the requirements of all the Rating Agencies. Below is a summary of our standing with each of the Rating Agencies based on the current evaluation protocols.
